What started on a highly promising note, fizzed out as both the Sensex and Nifty scuttled early points made during pre-morning session. By close of trading hours, Sensex read 32228.27, 17.60 points or 0.05% down down from its opening. It reached a high of 32350.71. Other indices on the BSE such as Next 50 (up by 0.55%), BSE 100 (0.08%), Midcap (0.57%), Midcap select index (0.80%) remained in the green.
