Bajaj Auto Ltd., Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., Tata Motors Ltd., Hero MotoCorp Ltd other two-four wheeler maker will be in focus as Supreme Court is set to pronouced its verdict on BS-IV migration case today.

State run Cos:

State-run companies namely Hindustan Cable Ltd., Tyre Corporation Ltd., HMT Watches Ltd., Birds Jute and Export Ltd (BJEL) and Central Inland Water Transport Corporation Ltd will be in focus as NITI Aayog is preparing a fresh cabinet note recommending closure of sick CPSEs as part of an excercise to tackle mounting losses incurred by these entities.

Tata group cos:

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., Tata Motors Ltd., Tata Steel Ltd other Tata Group companies will be in focus after Tata Sons board approved a resolution to invest up to Rs 100.00 billion in various Tata group companies at the first board meeting chaired by N Chandrasekaran on February 21.

Bharti Airtel Ltd:

Bharti Airtel Ltd., the largest listed telecom service provider, will be in focus after it announced sale of 10.3% stake in subsidiary Bharti Infratel to a consortium of funds for over Rs 61.90 billion ($951 million).

Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd:

Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd., the coffee chain operator, will be in focus after it said that its step-down subsidiary 'Way2Wealth Brokers Pvt Ltd' has transferred entire 100% shares in its subsidiary namely Way2Wealth Illuminati Pte to Alphagrep Securities, a fellow subsidiary with effect from 28 March 2017. The announcement was made after market hours Tuesday.

Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd:

The newspaper publisher will be in focus after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) attached assets worth Rs 2.63 billion, including land and bank accounts in connection with a money laundering case related to a bank fraud.

Hindustan Zinc Ltd:

Hindustan Zinc Ltd., the zinc miner will be in focus as it turn ex-dividend today for special dividend of Rs 27.50 per share for the year ending 31 March 2017.

Idea Cellular Ltd:

Idea Cellular Ltd., the third largest telecom service provider, will be in focus after it launched 4G services in Jammu and plans to expand the high-speed services to 20 towns in the Jammu & Kashmir circle by June.

Indiabulls Ventures:

The stock brokerage will be in focus after founders won board approval to infuse Rs 1.47 billion via convertible warrants at a price of Rs 43.75 per share.

ITC Ltd:

ITC Ltd., the cigarrette maker will be in focus after the Competition Commission approved proposed acquisition of Johnson & Johnson's two brands, 'Savlon' and 'Shower to Shower'.

PVR Ltd:

PVR Ltd., the Multiplex operator, will be in focus as it is looking at around 90% jump in revenue to around Rs 40.00 billion in four to five years driven by expansion across the country.

National Peroxide Ltd:

National Peroxide Ltd., the Wadia Group, one of India's oldest business conglomerates, has agreed to acquire a 25% stake held by Belgium's Solvay Chemicals in National Peroxide in a deal that will mark the end of a 45-year-old partnership with the Brussels headquartered firm, multiple sources with direct knowledge of the transaction told ET.

Om Metals Ltd:

The company on Tuesday informed bourses that it has secured Letter of Intent (LoI) from Indra Sagar Project for supply and laying of pipe line on right bank of Upperveda project on turnkey basis for amounting Rs 13.50 crore.

State Bank of India:

State Bank of India (SBI), the state-run largest lender, will be in focus as it would start merger process of five associates and Bharatiya Mahila Bank (BMB) from April 1. The lender expects integration to be completed in three months. The lender also said it will increase its stake in SBI Card to 74% by June end.
